Greeting Gals: Susie Salutations

Life has been...woah-ish.

Tea with Gladys is doing well and that is where most of my time has been spent. So sorry for the lack of posts but I've been busy hosting tea parties and getting ready for my Grand Opening this Saturday!

I managed to take a little time to start my new series: Greeting Gals. They will be available in prints as well as greeting cards and tags!

Tea With Gladys-ing

I had a little photoshoot of my new store with a good friend, and super talented photographer  Dani Lyn Ayee.
I've had this dress forever ( literally about 1 year) and have not worn it. When I was getting ready for the shoot, I literally removed the age old price tag. When I initially purchased it from H&M I had no occasion to wear it to. I just thought it was stunning and it was on sale! It reminded me of something my grandmother would have worn, so how fitting was is it that I wore it in these first photos of my shop:)

Do any of you have a piece in your wardrobe that was purchased with someone else in mind?

Shop/studio update

What a whirlwind of a week! I opened my store, got my 4th tattoo, made an appointment for my 5th, realized that...oh my lan...I am my own boss, booked my first 'tea party' on my first day (!!!!) and my new purse broke.

I really don't care about the last thing b/c it was cheap and I knew it when I bought it. But of course it had to break whilst I was running for the bus with my arms loaded to the brim with a mountain of stuff I was bringing to the store.

Here is a little sneek peek of some on goings at tea with gladys this week:)

a selection of vintage goodies for sale. Sold a gorgeous floral number the first day!

Sibling Rivalry

I recently got to work with one of my oldest friends ( we used to go to theatre camp back in the day!) on his newest project. Denis Theriault, super talented, super cute is following his dreams in film and directing and I was more than thrilled to be asked to do the poster for his latest project.

Sibling Rivalry is produced and directed by Denis and has an amazing looking and talented group of actors & crew. If you'd like to take a peek at the teaser trailer, click here!

Also one of my really good friends Sarah Bell is one of the main actors in the film. On that note, you must check out  the hilarious web based series called Brittni in the City, created by Sarah and Denis.  My goodness I have talented friends:)

If you'd like to support Denis's movie, they have a current indiegogo fundraiser going on that you can support them through.
